Roblox FPS Unlocker For MAC

Locate the file path from download folder and double click on “rbxfpsunlocker-mac.zip” file, now your file is successfully extracted.

To run this script file we need to open up the spotlight icon and then type in terminal and then click Terminal and terminal window here is going to allow us to run this script file.

For running script file type in sudo and then give space and then we’ll drag the script file into terminal and that’s going to provide the full path of file. Or simply you can copy file path and paste it here.

Now press reurn key, it will ask for password, enter your administrator password. Don’t worry if nothing shows up here as long as you’ve typed password and file path correctly and press return then it’s going to allow this script to run and it shows here the FPS cap has been successfully set to 120 FPS.

So that is double what the normal cap is. It’s going to allow the game to run a lot better so you can go back into Roblox and our frame rate has already reached this 120 frames per second cap and this game is going to run much better than before and it’s going to be much smoother than the 60 frames per second that was the cap before.

Method 2: Using Terminal Command

This method is similar as old method. But here you need not to download any unlocker manually as we are going to to use terminal for this job. So for using FPS unlocker on your MAC just follow given steps:

You will first need to download the script, you can use the following command in the Terminal to do it:

curl -sfLO https://raw.githubusercontent.com/lanylow/rbxfpsunlocker-osx/script/install_fps_unlocker

And after installation run it using this command:

sh install_fps_unlocker
